Naples is pure Italy, next to the elegant Florence, and the inigualable Rome it was part of the Great Tour, the trip iniciático for writers and poets, for painters and lovers of the life, as Lord Byron, John Keats or Shelly that escaped from those cold and foggy British lands in search of the light, the art and the Italian happiness, of Naples Stendhal said, "I Go, but not I will forget Via Toledo neither any other neighborhood of Naples, according to my view without point of comparison, the most beautiful city in the universe."
Perhaps if the great French writer traveled today his streets and squares he would not think the same thing, but for sure he/she would enjoy the city with the same passion, because after the one bustle and the anarchy survives all the beauty that it fell in love the writer. Naples is as a numerous family, full with passion and madness, where the disorder is part of her and where all remain united in spite of the problems making it only and special.
With so intoxicant sensations, anything better than going aboard in the one port sorrentino and to go toward the island of Ischia, not as well-known as their neighbor Capri. Ischia is a perfect place to know the character of the inhabitants of the gulf of Naples, open, kind and cheerful people that they invite me without many preambles to share the banquet of the wedding in the that I have just appeared attempted to discover to the soul of the islanders. It is then when alone can say: Viva Italy !
The best trip is the one that never ends up or, better even, the one that we would like that never it ended up because we want to continue dreamt. For it my penultimate Italian stop me it takes until the cherry of the cake, the small one town of Positano. Climbed in a sharp cliff, their houses are part of a magic one it pierces, where the light of the Mediterranean floods everything to move in volandas to the paradise, where the scent to lemon unites to that of the lavender perfuming all the corners, their beach is the home of painters and fishermen, of tourists and travelers. Positano makes me dream of golden dawns in rooms that lean out to a blue sea cobalt, while the breeze shakes the red ones buganvilias that wind for the wall of a small terrace and the aroma to lemon me it caresses to mark me with a cheerful one melancolia that will make that I never forget of Naples and of the coast Amalfitana.
